About 1 in 4 stroke survivors will have a second stroke,
but you have the power to reduce your risk.

helps you build healthy habits and reduce your risk of stroke by delivering customized tips, reminders, and motivation
to your mobile phone by text.

Practical tips on diet, exercise, and prevention of stroke and heart disease will be delivered to you by text 3-5 times a week. The tips will focus on small, doable changes that can add up to BIG improvements in your overall health. They will be customized based on your personal risk factors for stroke and heart disease.

With busy lives, it is easy to get sidetracked and forget to take medicine or monitor your health. BEATStroke gives you the ability to schedule customized text message reminders to take medication, exercise, monitor blood pressure, or check blood sugars.

If you could use a little extra encouragement, BEATStroke will send you general motivational messages or a personal motivational message you design yourself. To make getting healthy more fun, there will be monthly BEATStroke contests that can qualify you to win prizes.
