We understand that nutrition and exercise advice is often confusing and difficult to follow. The amount of information can be overwhelming, and recommendations for drastic changes aren't realistic for most people or sustainable in the long term.

 

We take a different approach:

  • Communicating information by text message breaks it down into bite-sized pieces that are easier to digest and put into practice

  • We focus on small, doable changes that you can make to your daily routine. Over time, these small changes can add up to make a big difference in your blood sugars, weight, and overall health.

Practical tips regarding diet, exercise, and diabetes care will be delivered to you by text 3-5 times a week.

The tips that you receive will be customized based on your answers to a short questionnaire when you enroll.

Search for the WORST parking spot. Park farther away and get some exercise.

Use the Half-Plate Rule: Fill half your plate with vegetables and fruit. Stick with the Half-Plate Rule if you go back for seconds!

BIG plates, BIG problem. Studies show that people serve more food on big plates. Switch to smaller plates (like salad plates) to help with portion size.
